INCREASE IN THE SHARE  CAPITAL



On 21 November 2005 Sampo Pankki Oyj, the sole shareholder of AS Sampo Pank,

paid in an additional amount of share capital worth EEK 150 million. The payment

was made in accordance with the respective decision to increase AS Sampo Pank's

share capital adopted on 15 November 2005.



After the respective entry is made into the commercial register, the share

capital of AS Sampo Pank will total EEK 473 111 220.
