Management Board

The Bank is managed by its Management Board (the “Board”), which is comprised of seven to ten (currently nine) members appointed by the Council upon proposal of the Managing Director for a term of one year. The Board meets regularly or upon the request of any of the Board members, but at least once a month.

The Board of the Bank consists of the following persons:

Mr. Olari Taal
Chairman of the Board, Estonian Savings Bank, since 1993. Previously, Mr. Taal served as Minister of the Economy, Republic of Estonia (1992-1993); Group Manager, Bank of Estonia; General Director, Tartu Maja. Mr. Taal graduated with a degree in Construction Engineering from Tallinn Technical University.

Mr. Mati Jostov
Vice-Chairman of the Board, Estonian Savings Bank, since 1994 and Director, Estonian Savings Bank, since 1997. Previously, Mr. Jostov served as Director, South Region (1993-1997) and Director, Põlva Savings Bank (1990-1993). Mr. Jostov graduated with a degree in Forestry from the Estonian Academy of Agriculture.

Mr. Üllar Jaaksoo
Vice-Chairman of the Board, Estonian Savings Bank, since 1996 and Director, Electronic Banking Division, Estonian Savings Bank, since 1997. Previously, Mr. Jaaksoo served as Director, Retail Banking Division (1995-1997) and Chief Manager, Marketing Department (1993-1995). Mr. Jaaksoo graduated with a degree in Finance from Tartu University.

Mr. Priit Haller
Vice-Chairman of the Board and Director, Financial Division, Estonian Savings Bank, since 1993. Prior to this time, Mr. Haller served as Senior Specialist, Financial Department, Estonian Investment Bank and Senior Specialist, Loan Department, Estonian Investment Bank. Mr. Haller graduated with a degree in Finance from the Tartu University.

Mr. Aimar Jugaste
Member of the Board and Director, Administrative Division, Estonian Savings Bank, since 1996. Formerly, Mr. Jugaste served as PR Manager, Estonian Savings Bank (1993-1996); and Director, Estonian Telegraph Agency (1990-1993). Mr. Jugaste graduated from Tartu University with a degree in journalism.

Mr. Aare Kilp
Member of the Board, Estonian Savings Bank, and Director, Subsidiaries, Estonian Savings Bank, since 1996. Previously, Mr. Kilp served as Director, Hoiupank Asset Management (1995); Specialist, AS R-Investeeringud (1994-1995); Head of Credit Department, Estonian Savings Bank (1993-1994); Managing Director, AS Tashen (1993) and Project Manager, AS Melton (1992-1993). Mr. Kilp graduated from Tartu University with a degree in Economic Cybernetics.

Ms. Juta Maar
Member of the Board and Chief Accountant, Estonian Savings Bank, since 1993. Formerly, Ms. Maar worked with Restor Ltd. Ms. Maar graduated from Tallinn Technical University with a degree in Economics.

Mr. Aivar Rehe
Member of the Board, Estonian Savings Bank, since 1994 and Director, Corporate Banking Division, Estonian Savings Bank, since 1997. Previously, Mr. Rehe served as Director, Loan Division, Estonian Savings Bank (1994-1997), Senior Specialist, Estonian Investment Bank (1992-1994). Mr. Rehe graduated from Tallinn Technical University with a degree in Economics.

Mr. Heino Viik
Member of the Board, Estonian Savings Bank, since 1994 and Director, Markets, Estonian Savings Bank, since 1997. Formerly, Mr. Viik served as vice-head of Financial Division, Estonian Savings Bank (1995-1997). Mr. Viik graduated from Tartu University with a degree in Economics.
