Background Information
INVL Technology is a company that invests in information technology businesses. It was established in 2015 with the merger of the asset management and IT business companies INVL Technology AB and BAIP group AB. The new company assumed all the rights and obligations of the former INVL Technology AB, which ended operations, and combined the two companies’ competencies, experience, intellectual capital, ties to the scientific community and other value-creation practices.
On 14 July 2016, the Bank of Lithuania granted INVL Technology a permit to operate as a closed-end investment company (UTIB). Under its Articles of Association, INVL Technology UTIB will operate until 14 July 2026, with a possible extension for a further two years. The management of the closed-end investment company was assumed by INVL Asset Management, a part of the Invalda INVL asset management group.
INVL Technology consists of three company groups: NRD Cyber Security, Novian, and NRD Companies.
NRD Companies, a global group of GovTech and FinTech companies, specializes in the design, development/build and operationalization of e-registers and government e-services. With offices in Norway and Lithuania and over 100 employees, the company has delivered projects in more than 50 countries.
The Novian group operates in IT services and provides software development, IT infrastructure and digitization services. It has offices in 6 countries and its headquarters are in Vilnius. The Novian group employs more than 250 people and has delivered projects in over 50 countries.
NRD Cyber Security is a company that specializes in cybersecurity. Based in Vilnius and with an office in Bangladesh, it employs more than 40 people and has delivered projects in over 40 countries.
INVL Technology develops businesses in order to create value for shareholders. The businesses it owns will thus be sold by 2026.
