AS PRFoods is a company engaged in food processing and sales. It is listed on the main list of Nasdaq Tallinn Stock Exchange since 5 May 2010.
The company produces and sells fish products in Finland, Estonia and Great Britain and farms fish in Sweden, Finland and Estonia. The Group’s main market is Finland, but after acquiring John Ross Jr and Coln Valley Smokery in the summer of 2017, sales have been expanded to 37 countries worldwide.
The indisputable competitive advantage of the Group is its vertical integration – fish farming, production and sales. Trout farmed in the lakes of Sweden, in the archipelago in Turku area in Finland and in the waters of Saaremaa Estonia, as well as salmon imported from Norway, are processed in the modern production facilities of Heimon Kala OY in Renko, Finland and of Vettel OÜ in Saaremaa, Estonia. The Group's distribution network in Finland and Estonia ensures that customers receive fast and high quality deliveries. The Group is among the leaders of the fishing industry in the Finland retail market with its own trademarks and with private label products and also in the HoReCa sector.
The Group’s main Finnish brand is “Heimon” – a well-known and highly appreciated fish brand, that has been part of the Finns everyday dishes and festivities for over 30 years; it is now gradually introduced to the Estonian retail market as well. The most notable brand for Great Britain and export markets is John Ross Jr.
