Organisational Structure In 1995, the Bank reorganised its organisation, replacing a functional approach with a customer-driven one. The existing regional units administering the sales network were retained and five new divisional units were introduced to combine the central functions. The Bank's branch network is divided into six administrative regions (Tallinn, South, West, North and Saare and Hiiu branches). The regions are independent in exercising their control of the management of branches and their annual financial plans are prescribed by the Management Board of the Bank. The Bank's management structure is organised into eight standing committees. The Regional Committee consists of all regional managers and is entitled to take decisions related to the branch network. Other committees include the Credit Committee, the Asset and Liability Management Committee and the Credit Committee. |
