Webinar is an online seminar or conference platform that allows building direct communication with existing and potential investors, mass media and other members of the stock exchange. We call it a publicity opportunity with added value.

Webinar is an easy-to-use tool to improve the quality of the communication with audience of the utmost importance for any listed company (such as investors and media). Inclusion of webinars in the overall investor relation related activities will have immediate impact on the reputation of the company and eventually contributes on its performance.

When to organize a webinar?

We encourage holding webinars regularly in order to distribute important business-related information to all interested parties quickly and conveniently. For example, it can be a useful tool:

  • to present quarterly and annual financial results;
  • to introduce significant project launches;
  • to give additional info about expansion to new markets;
  • etc.

How does it work?

Webinar is an easy-to-use platform for both – the host and the audience. It allows conducting the virtual conference or presentation without any restrictions as to the location or venue. All you need is a computer connected to internet and a headset.

The company’s responsibility is to prepare a presentation and publish respective market announcements – all other organizational aspects are covered by Nasdaq Baltic.

Joining the webinar is really easy – just registering on the link provided in company’s announcement is needed. The system also sends confirmation and reminder e-mails so that participants will remember to attend.

Rules of good practice

There is a set of simple rules to be followed in order to make the most of the webinar without jeopardizing the regulations and rules of the market:

  • Webinars are usually held after trading hours;
  • Should be booked by the company at least 2 weeks before the desired date;
  • Presentations must be available online at the time when webinar starts;
  • The recording of the webinar shall be available online shortly after webinar is over.

Exchange specialists will monitor the webinar and in case of any sensitive information has been disclosed, will assist company to prepare the respective announcements, and publish it through GlobeNewswire when applicable.
