Nasdaq Vilnius and the Lithuanian Central Securities Depository are the leading securities market infrastructure operators in Lithuania. They provide market participants with an environment for carrying out transactions with securities, clearing and settling securities transactions, and listing securities, as well as for operation of the central public securities register and funded pension fund register.


Nasdaq Vilnius

The mission of Nasdaq Vilnius is to organize and develop the Lithuanian securities market by creating the most favorable conditions for issuers, investors, and financial intermediaries to exploit efficiently the advantages of the capital market. Only Nasdaq Vilnius members – banks and brokerage companies – may trade on the Nasdaq Vilnius exchange. 

The exchange is a self-regulated organization, issuing and enforcing its own rules and regulations in accord with standard exchange operating procedures.


Lithuanian Central Securities Depository

The Lithuanian Central Securities Depository is a central registrar of shares and other securities issued by public companies registered in Lithuania and by the Lithuanian government. The CSD is also responsible for the clearing and settlement of trades in financial instruments concluded on and outside the stock exchange.
